Tour Couture Boutique Features Sula NYC products!

Self-taught Brooklyn designer Nailah Lymus launched her clothing and accessories brand, Amirah Creations (amirahcreations.carbonmade.com), in 2004. She opened this minimalist shop to hawk her own work alongside shoes ($40–$800), jewelry ($15–$100) and beauty products ($10–$75) from other local talents with diverse cultural backgrounds. Each piece is hand-selected by Lymus herself and has roots in exotic locales, including Tibet, Morocco, Japan and India. The 4,000-square-foot boutique features eight large, white display units flanked by 12 mannequins to fully showcase each designer’s work. There’s also an on-site photography studio available for rent ($100 per hour) that includes lighting, hair and makeup equipment. Sift through the racks to discover Ana Segura colorful printed scarves ($30) and house-brand, hand-beaded Indian tunics ($50). Other swoonworthy picks include Sula NYC mineral masks ($25) and Fruit of Desire scented argan oils ($40) made from Moroccan ingredients. 1083 Broadway, (between Dodworth and Lawton Sts)
